If you are referring to not getting pregnant... No, it is never safe to have sex without a condom. It is never really safe to have sex at all, but heck, we all do it, pretty much. I think you might be less likely to get pregnant either 8 days before or 8 days after your period. I am not sure which. And I'm not sure if it is even true.....

The only danger that i know of is a "tubal" pregnancy. Which is concieving in your tubes which is very painful. If you are trying to concieve a child the best time to have sex is to begin trying on the 14th, 15th, and 16th days after the last day of your period. That's when you begin to ovulate. And dear God i hope you're not under 18. If you are NEVER MIND. LOL

Yes you can, in fact you should remember it is possible to get pregnant any time you have sex. No birth control is 100% sure and you are never sure where you are on your cycle. It is not likely but it is possible so always practice birth control and be prepared should you be one who has that slight chance of becoming pregnant

Its ok, if your periods are regular. First 7 days of a period is generally considered as safe.

Since you are trying to concieve, yes, (assuming the following); You have a steady faithful partner free of STD's.
Otherwise if you don't have a steady partner, I would be very careful not to contract HIV or other STD('s).

Safe ... condom never protects against STD's, not all that well against pregnancy ...
It's kind of gross to do that, too ...
