they were about 10 of them but they never hatched ...ever..why???? i had to throw them away=(

Mollies don't lay eggs, they give birth to live young. If you don't have a male molly she probably just expelled unfertilized eggs, if you do have have a male she may have expelled unfertilized eggs or she may have been stressed to the point of aborting them before they had time to develop,

Well, either you don't have a molly, or they weren't eggs. Molly's are live bearing fish. The do not lay eggs. When a molly drops her fry, you will see tiny tiny little wiggling gray colored baby fish swimming and hiding in the rocks and plants. If you saw eggs, then you don't have a molly. Sorry

Sounds like she had a miscarriage and died. Poor fish.

For the rest of you, Mollies do not lay eggs, they have live young.

they are live bearers. if she laid eggs it means she aborted her pregnancy because she was way to stressed out from all the other fish around her

Aw how sad- actually fish eggs creep me out anyway. My sis and me go to sushi bars all the time and I always tell them to scrape the tiny orange eggs off of my Shuniab.
