At 6 months old, he should not be starting to eat what you eat. His tummy isn't ready for the spices and seasonings that we use on our foods yet. And he probably doesn't have enough teeth to really chew. He should still be on baby foods. Even though you make his foods, you can go to the store and look at what they have for 6 month old babies. It's still basically fruits and veggies, MAYBE some meats, but possibly with very small "chunks" now, more texture and mixed flavors. Use the jarred baby foods as your guide for the next several months. When he reaches around 9 or 10 months, you can start to give him little bits of what you eat for dinner, but still have "his" foods for him as well. Good luck... God bless :o)

Honestly, it should be fine. My oldest 2 children never ate jarred baby food or bland, nasty, flavorless food.. they just refused it. You might try, however, removing his veggies before you add the soy sauce, and maybe mix some special sauce just for him (diluted w/ water). I'm assum ing that you put all this through a food processor, and in that case, since he's only 6 months old, you have to add a bit of water anyways, so it should definitely be fine! =) Might recommend going light on the chili, though, as babies w/ indigestion are NO fun. Make sure he doesn't have any allergic reactions. He may have a little bit of runny poo, as he's probably not used to rich foods yet, but his tummy will adjust (just as it would if you were switching from formula to baby food, or from baby food to solids). Good luck!

Salt and spices are not good for babies and young children.
Your baby could get sick from these things, just give him a bit of the stir fry items without the soy sauce and sweet chili.

Soy sauce is very high in sodium, so I don't think it's good for a 6 month old baby...as well as the sweet chili. You should always keep your baby's food as natural as positive.

I'd take his out before you add the sauce. Weak soy should be fine on the odd occasion as its quite high in salt content, but I think the sweet chilli would upset his little tummy.

nicely i ask your self how human beings have been given on till now infant cereals have been invented? They used the grownup stuff - or stumbled on iron from different sources. Your infant would not want specially infant cereals, yet attempt to strengthen different iron-wealthy ingredients. you already understand approximately pink meats and cereals (and Cheerios are super for iron - so is weetabix), per danger strengthen the leafy green veg if she'll consume it? in case you combine it with something sweeter it might desire to be greater eye-catching to her. As you're saying, she is purely purely below typical stages, so this is not any longer an excellent project. Is she an fairly sleepy infant? Very gentle? If no longer, then she's getting via advantageous with out the added iron.

I think soy and sweet chilli might be a bit strong, I would try giving them the stirfry minus the sauce.

I personally wouldnt be feeding my baby this! He can get enough nutrition from formula/breastmilk and baby food and baby cereal at 6 months. I think its unnecessary to add anything else at the moment. If you do want to introduce your own meals to the baby skip all sauces/seasonings... they just aren't necessary!

At six months they should be exploring the tastes and textures of bare foods. Why do you want to put so much into his little system? They have far more sensors in there mouth than we do so although we think more flavor is necessary for enjoyment it is not for them.
