What is your favorite TOOL album? And is there a TOOL album you don't like? Why?

There isn't an album from them that I dislike. Aenima and Undertow are my favorites.

My favorite album period, let alone just from Tool, is Aenima. They took what they did with Undertow, which was already a phenomenal album, and improved upon it a hundred-fold. There is not a weak song on that album. It is just one of those rare albums that can really suck you in. The way they weave a web with just a single riff is genious. The first time I heard the album it just blew my mind.
There isn't really an album that I don't like but the latest, 10000 Days, was really a weak effort. The total number of songs is only about 8 or so and I think that Maynard's time with APC really hurt the process which sucks because it is so long between albums for this group. Some of the songs are right on par with what I expect but at this point I have grown accustomed to excellence with whatever they put out. It's almost like they took for granted what we fans love about them. Hopefully they return to form with their next album.

I can't say I have an absolute favorite, because I REALLY like Opiate, Undertow and Aenima, That being said: I'm not a huge fan of the newest album, it doesn't have the same charm.

I love all the tool albums, my two favorite are 10,000 Days and Aenima

Undertow. There isn't any Tool stuff I don't like. I like Undertow the best because that's when I first heard Tool and they were far beyond any other band at that time.

Undertow is the best album by them. Their new one isn't all that great, though.
Undertow I would say is the best because it is the most...Different... All the songs just work together in so many ways. My favorite songs off of it are Prison Sex and Sober.

Aenima (followed by Undertow). Each song is like an EP, and overall this is better than most bands greatest hits album. I like them all.

Favorite album is either Undertow or Lateralus. There are none I do not like, although Opiate is not one I listen to all that much.

My favorite is either Aenima or Lateralus. And 10,000 Days is a close third. I think they are all really good there are just some I listen to more than others.
