I've taken a pain reliever over an hour and half ago but I'm still cramping and as soon as I took the pill I laid down with a heating pad on my abdomen. And before that I tried movement, a little light exercise and nothing worked. What can I do? I don't normally cramp but right now I'm in so much pain i could cry.

Thank you for your answers

I'm sorry this ended up in the pregnancy questions. I'm not sure how it happened. Sorry.
I don't think I'm pregnant although I couldn't rule the possibility out all together. It's rather unlikely that I am

Sometimes cramps are from dehydration. Try drinking a big glass of water. Also you don't say how far along you are. If it is early in your pregnancy, I would call a doctor right away, if it is late, then you may be having Braxton Hicks. For that, try a nice soak in the tub if exercise doesn't help.

first of all if you are pregnant DO NOT put a heating pad on your abdomen any book you read will tell you NOT to do that...and like the first one said cramping is sometimes dehydration just drink plenty of water and try to stay away from alot of sugars and salts. good luck
