Did any of your childhood friends change themselves drastically when they became an adult?

Yes, and so did I.
Unfortunately, you never know what people will become, and sometimes it isn't good.

Sadly, I have had to let go of several long-term friendships because the friends I once loved as teenagers turned out to be abusive or neglectful parents to their children, or just plain irresponsible grown-ups.
It's sad, but people change and then they really are not the same people you once knew.

I did. I grew up tough and dysfunctional. Now I'm a cool frood. Took years of learning experiences and learning about what I wanted to become( future ), not who I was ( past ).

Yes but I love them more when I learn their story... The have been through a lot and they are still keep smiling and that shows a lot...
