I'm mostly fascinated by astronomy and I love reading about it, but I'd really like to have a place I could go to join a discussion specific to the field with people who know much more about it than I do. See where I'm going with this?

There's nothing wrong with Yahoo! answers but it's not really a forum.

True forums let you post back and forth, much like a conversation.

Yahoo! answers resembles a forum in the sense that people can write on a board and their posted in chronological order but that's about as far as the similarities go.

I'm really looking for a GOOD forum and was hoping someone from here could make a reccommendation.
