Ether is polar because the oxygen in the center gives it a bent configuration; if it were linear, it would be non polar.

yes it is relatively nonpolar because the oxygen (the only atom in the molecule which can have a charge) at the center is not available for hydrogen bonding due to the bulky alkyl groups blocking it.
