It has felt that way for a long time now. I feel stuck. I know what it is that I have to do, but I just don't have the energy or motivation to actually do anything about it. The best things in my life- men- I've let walk out of my life because I was unable to express my love for them. It's this sadness I can't erase. It haunts me.

Yes, many times. But I like to play catch up ... sometimes I do, but sometimes I miss the boat ... I'm not dead yet so, I just get stronger. Do you want a soul or something-you're beginning to worry me (not the usual furry creature I've become accustomed to).?

Philosophically, yes. In reality - I am soooo glad that I do not have to keep pace with the world. I am fine with just little ole me. I come out of the safety and comfort of my little head when I am good and ready to deal with idiots again. Dang, the world is full of them.

oh, i'm in a sad mood and answering your questions are making me cry. you have no clue how much this question rings true in my life. i feel stuck in this one spot and everyone else is moving forward. i'm having trouble asking for help which i clearly need and everyone has decided to turn the other way. i could go on and on. but, i would be ranting.

You mean it doesn't?? When I'm asleep at home, life is static and nothing happens? If I died this instant, the world would cease to exist? (well, my world would)...life would not continue?

Wow.

No, it drags me along with it- sometimes kicking, screaming and digging my heels in- and sometimes it races to keep up with me!
