(1) False. Rising labor costs have actually led to a huge decline in the manufacturing sector in America. Most manufacturing is now done over seas, or in Mexico, etc. The service industry is pretty much bullet proof in America, we like to have other people around to do things for us. That will never go away.

(2) False. The US is importing far more than it exports, and has experienced this for decades. This has been going on basically since the early 1970s when manufacturing costs in other countries went down, and demand in America began to skyrocket.

(3) False. Nixon had no intention of terminating reservations. Unfortunately the thinking then was that as long as the Native Americans were on reservations, they weren't the US governments problem. That's one of the prices paid by maintaining their status as "sovereign nations." Reservations will never be truly terminated, it seems more likely that individual tribes will simply cease to exist first.
