The Curse of the Bambino.. was for the Redsox, who traded Babe Ruth to the Yankees. The Red Sox' curse was because they traded the Babe and never succeded after that. Until a few years ago, the curse was lifted for them. So, the Yankees never had that curse on them.
And if any curse would title this series.. it would be the "Curse of the Dominant Pitching-o."

Don't forget the midges (bugs) were on the Indians players also - they just handled it better! Of course, that's probably because the Canadian Soldiers (midges) had already invaded from Lake Erie twice this season.
By the way, they're gone already...but they were 20 miles south of Lake Erie where I live on Sat. afternoon...not nearly as bad as it was in May.

It didn't effect Fausto Carmona because he's from a third world country, where it's normal to have bugs crawling all over you. Joba Chamberlain is from Nebraska.
