For example, "Ghost Beside My Bed" by Altered State, is not only lyrically about ghosts, but the music itself sounds ghostly. I'm looking for songs directly about ghosts, that aren't halloween spooky sounds type stuff. =)

Several artists have covered a song called "Bringing Mary Home", I always liked that song.

I was driving down a lonely road, on a dark and stormy night
