They are cheaters! Anything great they've ever done can be questioned as really being the talent of the team. Why do people still stand by them?

Bill Walsh coached the SF 49r's during their superbowl dynasty years. Bill Walsh was elected to the Pro-Football Hall of Fame. The SF 49's violated the NFL salary cap rules virtually every year that he was the head coach and Carmen Policy was SF General Manager.

The SF 49r's violated league rules. One could say the SF 49'rs cheated. But I don't hear anybody calling for Bill Walsh to be kicked out of the pro-football hall of fame. Nor do I hear anybody wanting put asterisks next the 49r's super bowl championships.

Enough of this mindless Patriot Bashing !!!

wow....that was one of the dumber questions I've seen all night. Every team cheats. Most are smarter about not getting caught. If we saw the back room crap in any of the franchises......wow. Fans dont drop teams cause they have an idiot coach. I dont even like the Patriots...but since you have apparantly missed the last 5 weeks of football...lemme fill you in on something. Without cheating, they have crucified 5 teams, by 17 pts or more. Get over it.

People love winners, as far as the cheating goes hey if you aren't cheating you ain't trying they just got caught. The question has never been raised in the NFL about sign stealing. End of the day the players make the plays, and so far this year the have good balance both sides of the ball.

Because when you're born a fan, you stay a fan.
Celtics, Patriots, Sox, Bruins.

I know too many people that would love a reversible Cowboys/Yankees shirt.

Loyalty doesn't blow around to who ever is winning. They are your home team - good or bad. Behavior problems in the family doesn't mean you don't love them.

"cheaters" ?? so..a little nerdy guy on a sideline with a camera is going to overshadow several championships and one of the most consistant and deep teams in game. Right now they are looking like one of the greatest teams to ever play and you are going to undermine that because of a little video camera?
give the team some respect.

Being caught cheating once doesn't mean you cheated your way into 3 superbowl victories. That team has so much talent. so many good players that I think that the patriots might make it to the superbowl this year

Because, it seems likely that all of the teams cheat, so really, where do you draw the line? Steroids, video camera, calling timeout before the kicker kicks the ball. They all cheat, until the start cracking down on all of it, its dull.

All teams cheat in some form or another. Are you going to stop rooting for a team because they get a holding penalty?

Well, I hated them even before they got caught cheating. I hate their emotionless monotonous coach. I hate their pretty boy quarterback. I hate their "hard hitting" safety Rodney "HGH" Harrison. I hate Lawrence Maroney, I hated Corey Dillon who's nose was bigger than his career. I'm already sick of hearing about Randy Moss and it's only been 5 weeks. Just so you know how deep my hatred is for them, I had every one of their starters on offense on my do not draft list in my fantasy football autodraft. I hated Bledsoe until he left there (too bad he wasted his best years there) I wish I would have seen them get slayed by the 85 bears. I hated the Packers in 96, but I hated the Pats so much more I actually rooted for the Pack. If there's anyone in the world who thinks less of the Pats than I do, I'd like to party with them.
