Question 1. What is meant by the term "normal" in a ray diagram that represents reflection????????
Continued= Does the meaning of normal change when representing refraction, please explain ??
And last question. Why is it desirable that t he pages of a book be rough rather than smooth and glossy?

1.) Normal usually means at a right angel to. I.e. the door is normal to the floor.

2.) Nope. Still means at a right angle to.

3.) Glossy pages will reflect direct light into your eyes.
