I'm not sure who said love is like an angel .. I'm not sure where the similarity is there. Love is gift, however. It may not last forever and it may hurt deeply at times ... but life would not be worth living without it.
If you have no intention of loving ... then there is no reason for living. Love it is what sustains us ... breaks us down ... fulfills us ... builds us back up ... it is the whole point of living ~ both the positive and negative aspects of it. Life is FULL of disappointments that can hurt us emotionally as well such as divorce or any relationship ending. What matters the most ... is how we deal with it. I have had my heart broken ... and each time I come back stronger and more resolved to find the true love of my life. The hurting helps me to realize what I don't want and won't settle for ... again.
You can't "plan" love ... nor can you decide to avoid it. Love doesn't work that way. We all have been and will continue to be "emotionally" hurt at times ... otherwise we'd be numb, unemotional zombies with a life devoid of any meaning. Where is the joy in that? Think about it ... every good memory revolves around love ... for our passions, our families, our friends, and yes ... romantic relationships.
Regardless of the how it ends and the pain that may come with it ... I say have the courage to choose love ... every time.

I would like to know where it is said that love is supposed to be like an angel as I have been misled. I have also been heartbroken and divorced and I find love to be a very hard gig. Marriage is harder, yet. If it has been written down somewhere that love is like an angel, I need to read this and learn more about it too! I believe Love is Hard!

People grow apart they stop doing whatever it was to make each other happy! They take the separate roads instead of coming together to ride down the street of life! It is a dangerous road and most of the time it ends up in a huge wreck! Not worth the time repairing moving on is the easy way out instead of the work it takes to build a foundation strong enough to withhold anything and anyone!

Love like an angel? I never heard that before, but with out love I would be lost... Things happen, in this time, we will never find perfection, but we can find the key in which to get us on the road for a future time... It is achievable for everyone although hard to keep a firm hold on...
Divorce happens not because it is loves fault... It happens because LOVE goes misunderstood...
Love is many many things... What is love to you? The more you put into love the less likely you are to be one who winds up in divorce... ♥
This is what hit me the other day, "If we are to love only those who are easy to love, are we really learning what love is, and is our love even real?" "What value is it to only love those easy to love?" Are we easy for God to love? He loves us anyways...♥

I've never heard of it being put that way, the only thing I can figure is it what I thought was an angel and was sadly mistaken!!

most people mistake the "fuzzy warm feelings" for love.
After a good deal of time, when the fuzzies are gone...LOVE is what you chose to do...even when the person isn't being loveable. A person who understands this can deal with it.

Same reason why lingerie is so popular. Lust/Sex can make you think you're in love when you really aren't compatible.
