i have two connected room believe it or not, the extra room is all mine, also my two fold room has always been hot enough to kill the gereactric, seriously i wonder........

it's been that way for the whole ten years i had it, though i have grown used to it for all those years of my youth oh and i live in texas (never ever much snow you know? ever!) thinking about it is allready making me sad, but anyway i am over twice as old now and my body finally can no longer take this heat!

why is my room soooo hot? what can i do about it?

all i can say is it has three windows that take in the majority of the heat the house absorbs because my rooms are in the eastern direction of the house

jezz this heat is making me sick!

assuming you have a central ac unit??
if so, it's because the futher the rooms are away from the unit, the less air pressure you have blowing the air out. take a balloon and put it on a vent that is there closest to the unit and see how far the balloons blows up into the air. then take the same balloon and put it on a vent in one of the hot rooms and see how far it'll blow up into the air, then you'll see what i'm saying. the futher away you get from the unit, the less air pressure there is flowing.
you can put aluminin foil up in the windows in the room that is hot and this will help reflect the sun. also, it may help to keep the room dark.
my home has hot and cool rooms also, so i added a small window unit that really helped, and to my suprise there was no hike in my electric bill running the central and window units at the same time. it there is a room or 2 that you don't use, close the vents to them rooms so the air flow can be directed to a room that needs it..

Try keeping the windows closed during the hot hours and then open them at night when it is cooler.

You should also have someone take a look at the insulation in your attic and the possibility of adding an attic fan to take out the heat buildup in the attic.

Do you leave your tv on a lot? If so, that's probubaly the reason ur room is hot. Unless ur tv is pretty new, try to turn ur tv on when ur actually watching it. :)
