Mr. Caijin,

Sir, with all due respect, I understand what you're saying--However, I look at it a little differently, during Jesus time, he had many followers, He was the Greatest of Leaders in His time in the physical tense ... I think we ought to want Leaders in America who will make that difference as Jesus did, following in Jesus foot-steps--Afterall, it was only by God's Grace that He saw us worthy enough to redeem us.

If we love the Father ... we will do the same for our own people who so desperately need him.
Thanks!

I would just like to add one more thing--A verse--

'Where there is no vision, people perish!'

As a Christian I believe leadership is the last thing we need. We have spent way to much time becoming political active and outspoken and not enough time on ourselves! In fact we, as a group, seem to know what is best for everyone else while our own lives are torn. The only time we should become active is when another person could be harmed as with abortion. My faith does not require a leader nor does my sense of morality. As a child I have lived through the so called Christian leaders who only sought to exploit rather than to benefit. So today the issue we face is a difficult one. Will we release our choke hold on the world which comes from a need for selfish mental security or will we let go and allow our faith to speak for itself?

Christianity is truly a wonderful faith let others experience it in their own time and in their own way.

As a Conservative Christian, I am disgusted with Dobson and his hatefulness. If he is really pro-life, let him declare that war and bigotry are immoral.

No, we are not in such a bad place, but we sure have learned in the past quarter century that the moral sesspool of govt will never make this country more moral.

Between Iraq and a hard place! (Sorry, I couldn't resist).

The Christian conservatives have been getting the short end of the stick for decades now, and are just beginning to realize it. The REAL agenda of the Republican Party has nothing to do with faith or values. Fundamentalists have been played for suckers since Reagan promised a constitutional amendment to end abortion. They have settled for mostly just lip service since then.

So welcome to reality!

This guy posted a white supremist website for one of his "sources" on another question. Don't bother answering him.
