What is your favorite reading spot? Next to a cozy fire, out in a hammock, in a window seat on a comfy cushon, or...? The possibilities are endless.
(I posted this previously but enjoyed the answers so much I decided to see if the same brilliance of writ could be come forth again!)

Hunched over my desk, pencil in hand, under the stuttering fluorescent light, during epiphany hour (1-2am).

My favorite spot is in my bed. I have a mattress warmer and unlike an electric blanket you can feel the warmth. I use two pillows, and when I get propped up just right there is no effort to hold the book. This is especially nice if it is cold outside, raining or snowing. Oh yeah, nice new thick flannel jammies.
Sometimes a handy snack and always a bottle of water so I don't have to get up if I get thirsty. 2 me this is heaven.

Second favorite is on the couch with a couple pillows behind my head.

My favorite place to read is a huge comfy recliner in my living room next to a large window. I especially like curling up in this chair with my denim comforter on a rainy day.

Most often I'm reading in a pleather chair in the break area at work.

I like to read sitting on my big comfy chair in my room, with a little background noise, such as the TV.
I like reading on my bed too, but I find it annoying having to switch positions when my arm goes numb. :)
I also like reading at the park on a nice warm day, sitting on a blanket with my back up against a tree, or sitting on a swing.
If it is raining, I sit outside on the porch. Hearing the rain, and smelling the clean air is very good for reading.

well frankly depends on my mood, most of the time I read on the train- it keeps me occupied between stops and keeps the freaks from hassling me.

ultimately the best read i have had was on a 24 hour train trip from brisbane to townsville in a sleeper, I read for 99 percent of the time. It was a fantastic way to relax before i started my holiday proper...

As a teacher, dad, and husband......I LOVE TO READ upon my throne (the one in the bathroom that is)....the only quiet place in the whole house. I can expect to hear Are you EVER coming out?.. after 10 minutes of peace, but for those 10 minutes....HEAVEN!
P.S. Readers Digest work great for this location!

on the grass in my backyard, at sunrise before any of my family wakes up, with a warm blanket and a hot drink.... with the orange horizon dancing up into a star speckled still-dark sky, playing against majestic silhouettes of the across-the-street cactus field

I usually read sitting in my truck on lunch break, with the A/C blasting. I work construction, so it's awesome to have that half-hour of a/c time.

Top on the list would be in bed, otherwise on the beach, in a chair in my back yard or on a plane....you get a lot of reading done on a plane!
