Too many to count. Learned many things. Most recent dumb thing--Helped out my ex-husband (gave him a place to stay for 6 months--in my house--purely platonic). He returned the favor by borrowing my car (extra car--old) w/out asking (keys were on key rack), wrecking it (destroying neighbors fence in process) and disclaiming any involvement (no one saw anything). Now I owe the neighbor $1000.00 for damages (lots of fence, escaped cow, etc.). I learned never to do that again. ;-))

I got this really huge piece of plastic once and made a parachute with it.I tied the ends with these one inch thick rope and ran all around the yard "testing" my parachute to ensure that it would open for me when I jumped of the Banister outside our home.
My lawn has this concrete circle right up at the house so I had to try and jump and push myself foward if I did not want to land on the concrete.Obviously I did not think of this as I was very confident that my "parachute" would open and I would drop gracefully.
Well my dear, I climed those steps and got up on the banister[30ft high] and jumped off with my sis at the bottom telling me it wont work.Well she was right. The thing never opened and I landed on the grass.Dont know how I missed the concrete.Thank GOD for his mercy.
Walked away with nothing more but grass stains, a headache and my mother yelling that she gonna kill me for doing something so stupid. The way she was threatening me I kinda was wishing the parachute had done the job!lol
What did I learn-Listen to my younger sibling. They may be saying something sensible one day
I enjoyed everybit of growing up

Hung onto the memory of a lost love for many years. Didn't allow myself to love again for a long time. Kept a wall up to keep from being hurt.
I learned that I had to love myself before I could really ever love anyone else. Now I'm taking chances, and learning what real love is (and isn't!!)

I had a shot of neat liquor in the middle of one afternoon, because I was bored and there was nothing to mix with it. Afterwards, I was unexpectedly sent on an important shopping errand (and my dad didn't know I was drunk), and I stuffed it up big-time.
I learned to chose the correct time to get off my face. It didn't matter that I was already in my twenties and could legally get drunk. I learned that it was irresponsible.
