The cosmic microwave radiation background with which the entire universe is imbued to a greater or lesser extent is still registering 2.725 K. This heat is borrowed from the singularity called the big bang. Virtually all life, matter and energy in the universe is borrowed from this event. The only thing that cannot be said with certainty, is where the event itself borrowed it's energy. However, I feel comfortable with my own acceptance that it did indeed borrow it from somewhere. My mind relishes contemplating the "where" part.

Life itself is borrowed. You are only here on this earth for a brief moment in the cosmic time scheme. Then you are off to learn another lesson. Maybe just every once in a while you remember a bit of your past lives but that only confuses what your really here to learn in the now.

I would say yes.We borrow our life for a short time and give it back ,hopefully well used and completely wore out.
Nothing last forever and what we get out of life we need to give back with interest .
Smiles from the heart .

If you're referring to what comes to mind currently (when reading your question), then I think yes, almost all ideas have been (or are) borrowed or inspired by something else.
As the quote goes: "There is nothing new under the sun".
However, I still think there are innovative or original ideas, exclusive of inspiration from another source.

Very excellent question. Yes. Nothing is ours, everything belongs to God also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, Rama etc. Nothing is our, verve has been. At the time of death it is all taken away including this body. The only thing we have is our eternal soul (that's us) and our relationship with God (what ever amount we have chosen to develop with Him) that's it.

With the exception of memories we've gained or feelings we feel ... those belong to us alone ... everything tangible that is truly worthwhile is borrowed .... This Native American proverb sums it up for me ...
"Treat the earth well.
It was not given to you by your parents,
it was loaned to you by your children.
We do not inherit the Earth from our Ancestors,
we borrow it from our Children."
Peace to you ...

Not everything.
We gained experiences and owned memories. Those are the things that can not be return.

Yes, or more precisely, given...
When the universe was created 20 billion years ago, whatever caused it, did not have you, or me, in mind...
