I haven't been scammed yet. I use sellers from US, Canada, or UK. I pay with PayPal whenever possible, which has some guarantees, but I don't give PayPal access to any of my bank accounts. Also I don't buy expensive items, so any losses would be small. You can also check the sellers' records on Ebay for how reliable they are.

Look at a ebayers score, if they recieve a lot of positive feedback and hardly any negative, its most likely they will send you the item. They want positive feedback. I have bought from ebay over 40 times, diff sellers, and never had a problem. If they don't send it you can always report them to ebay, but thats not always guarenteed for a refund/or getting your item. There are ebay scammers out there thats why you should never do money order, or western union. Paypal is your best bet.

It depends on what there rating is like 5 stars for great feed back and so on. I havent gotten scammed, but if you know you can a curtian item for cheaper, then dont get it, and look out for high shipping...

i have bought off e bay probably 35 or 40 different times,never had a problem.alway got my items.never been scammed.
