One guy apparently still believes that the secular (apostate) dictator Saddamn was actually in league with the militant Islamist Al-Qaeda, in the same way that Germany was allied with Japan in the 1940's.

It doesn't matter how little sense such an assertion makes, or how many times it's dismissed by any and all credible authorities, he still buys Cheney's irrational bile.

I have all kinds of respect for Wes Clark, if only because when he was live on the air on 9/11/01, and he received a phone call from the White House instructing him to announce that Iraq had been behind the attack, asked first what evidence there was. When he learned that they had bupkus, he refused to make the accusation.

Anybody who has studied the region at all should understand that apostacy is even worse than being an infidel in Islam, and that Al-Qaeda would never make common cause with Saddamn.

I am a Republican. I hate Bush profusely. I have hated him from day one. I am embarrassed to even tell people I'm a right-winger because they usually think it means I am pro-Bush ...

Of course, I often recieve tauntsabout my tin-foil hat being crooked. Touche'

as soon as i saw GW putting on his tough guy act, standing so macho amid the ruins of the Twin Towers with his sleeves rolled up and yelling into his bullhorn i thought to myself "uh oh. here we go".

see? i had previously read about PNAC and their plans for American autonomy in the Middle East, how they were just waiting for a "Pearl Habor-like event" to use as a trigger to set their scheme in motion. 9/11 was made to order.

Far as i know, no one fell for it. Bush himself said that Saddam had nothing to do with 9-11. Of course the Germans had nothing to do with Pearl harbor, but they were allies. Just as Saddam was allied with several terrorist groups, including Al quada.

And of course his "conspiracy theory" amounted to him refusing to deny the possibility of Iraqi involvement..
