last thursday 4th i fractured a bone in my foot near my big towe it seems to be very minor. what is the earliest that i could hope to play again i am our starting running back and a large part of our offense

Everyone heals differently and you should discuss this with your doctor. He can advise you about weight bearing, training ,playing and the like. Make an appt and ask him or her.

A general rule of thumb is six weeks. Talk to your doctor for specifics about your situation, though. Some minor fractures can permit activity sooner than six weeks. On the other hand... your first chance at healing a fracture is your best one. If the fracture gets reinjured while healing, subsequent healing can be QUITE delayed.

If it's only minor,there is not much you or a doctor can do for it.If you can handle the pain,I would say next week.
