That should be "checked".

Talk radio has a small audience and people are often working or driving while listening to radio. Television and print media are recorded and available for future recall. Statements made on radio are often heard, forgotten and life goes on. Same issues tomorrow, same type of discontent callers, different names of callers. You might remember a particular comment but not the entire conversation. Video tape, film, photos, and printed material have a more powerful delivery of the message. Many believe whatever they see and little of what they hear, unless video accompanies it.

I believe you are leaving out the politically correct, the term you are looking for is 'Main Stream' media. The money funneled in from socialist like George Soros, and others in high standing ( e.g. wealth, blood line...) is at our time in history strategically placed. This liberal movement has been going on since the birth of this nation. Little by little our rights and perception of truth, is all to far gone. The media's have been brain washing America for decades. I remember being at certain events, witnessed the events, participated in events, and I see on some 'News' programs a history revisionist script. You really have no idea how deep this goes. I guess to answer the question, for you I am sure you really believe there is not a liberal bias in the media. Good luck with that.

yep ... the media is sooo "liberal" that no real journalism has been done by any of the major MSM networks since GW stood upon the rubble of the Twin Towers and hollered into a bullhorn. no probing queries into the whys and wherefores of an attack on Iraq, no in the field news coverage of wounded troops and screaming civilians, no real coverage of the Libby Trial or of Gonzales' disgraceful departure, no coverage of the Abramoff and Delay scandals. ... oh it goes on and on, all the seemingly endless embarrassments the neoCONs did and do that the "liberal media" does not show.

if you don't have a PC and can't get on line to find other sources of information you're clueless to what's really going on. Fox is pure neoCON propaganda and the other news outlets are hardly much better.

and the "liberal media" STILL won't show the flag draped coffins of our troops.

"Yes but that is pretty much the only place a conservative viewpoint can be heard. If you listen to either the Network or Cable outlets (other than Fox) the slant is overwhelmingly liberal."

i completely agree with that. also shawn hannity from fox news has a radio show, so does limbaugh obviously.

and glenn beck has a conservative show on a liberal news channel, and his ratings are higher than anyone elses in the network. ha.

I suspect it's a ploy by conservatives to stamp out the opposing voices they so fear. OxyContin Boy is terrified of any dissent--if anyone suggests there be equal time given to the opposing viewpoint, he sees it as an attempt to Hush Rush. FOX is to the right of Attila the Hun. CNN seems to trend right. The closest thing we liberals have is Keith Olbermann on MSNBC.

What they mean is aside from all the conservative bias, which is healthy and normal, there is a liberal bias which precedes the coming of socialism and communism.

What they mean... is that if brains were dynamite, they wouldn't have enough to blow-dry their hair. :)

Anything left of Limbaugh is considered liberal bias.

Well, then that would mean that the bias is largely in television, newspapers, and magazines.

(Smile). . . Because there's a huge difference between 'Media' and 'Talk Show Hosts' . And the inability to recognize that is sadly astounding . But more of a reflection of our educational system and propaganda , and not necessarily you .
