Not at all...even good fielders like Jonty,Ponting,Yuvraj make many mistakes...i do obey that fielding is crucial...so players should also be trained heavily for fielding.....

Even the best fielders in the field sometimes misses the catch or the ball. If teams start dropping such playuers from the team, teams will find to field 11 players in a match.

it is a fact a fielder can miss a ball because he is a man and man is a structure of mistakes he should not be out of the team he should be given advice from his couch

if that was the case then there wont be any cricketers around.every one makes maistakes.. even the very best of fielders(Jonty Rhodes) made a few. players should be coached properly on te techniques of fielding and i feel it is essential that every team has a fielding coach as this is an important part of the game that cat be ignored

we're all human, we make mistakes,

for instance, i play cricket nationally, u16's for south-africa, if i Miss a ball in the game, we carry on. but, after the match we have to run 250m under 35 seconds with full batting kit, if we fail, we try again, for every Miss-Field we do this once, unless its not under 35 seconds

Think, if a player made a double century and took 5 wickets and then he misfields.. wil u leave him for the next match???

If He fails due to negligence, he must be kept aside.

Despite best effort if the fielder fails the fielder need not be axed.

how is it fair 2 dump him jus coz he misses 1 ball....hey,no-1's perfect!!!u shud luk at his fieldin on an average scale n den decide.C'MON!!!!if every1 was dumped 4 missin a ball,dere wouldn't b any cricketers..DUH!
