I`m with you. There were times when we were first married, that we had nothing to give each other for christmas. We each made something for the other. Later on in life, we were much better off, and the presents got more elaborate, but they were always heartfelt.

I will go with the heartfelt gift anytime. Like when my son made me a bookmark out of computer paper. He wrote I Love You Mom and colored it. He is the greatest! And that was the greatest gift I think I have ever received.
