I do not ask questions to get a star. i ask whatever may roll around in this bizarre mind of mine. If I get a ster, cool. If not, oh well. When i get a star, I'm happy that at least know I gave someone something to enjoy at least for a moment in time

Stars let you know people liked your question.
I like stars because it lets you know people liked your Q, and then their contacts will see it on their star list...so more answers!

What I dont get is the questions where people just ask for stars. Whats the point?

People give stars for various reasons. I am happy when they star my questions because it means they like it (or so I think). I do not get upset when they don't star them.

yes. stars make me happy. there's no reward for getting them, only the satisfaction of knowing someone liked your question, which is always nice.

i like stars ** they're pretty but i don't know what you get for them, sorry. i did hear once that if you got enough, Yahoo would send you a coupon for a mcdonald's happy meal. but i think that was a lie. :)

Nope, don't care. Never had any and not going to start. What's the point anyways....You can't even make a wish upon them.
