Is it any wonder they continue to believe they are more moral, and a majority - when in fact they are neither?

I think the reality is that right there, 58% of republicans believe a book to be the version of reality and because of that they ignore scientific observation. They spin evolution and global warming.

Because of that they have elected and reelected George Bush.

Here is my fear, they continue to vote and elect these kinds of people who ignore climate change science, they will continue to have foreign policies based on the Bible. The danger here is war with Iran or China when its not really in the best interest of the United States of America.

I think the other part of this coin is what we have is a rich elite that is useing the social issues of abortion and gay rights to keep this crowd whipped into a frenzy because it benefits them finacially to go to war and to not change their plants and factories to be more enviromentally friendly.

To sum up your difficult life is to say you have allowed yourself to have a very low self esteem. Go to a mirror and look into it and what do you see? You see the person that wlll be with you more than any other person in the world. You are now 15 and welcome to the mid-teen years of the rest of your life. You ask "why God has dealt me such a difficult life?" Consider the cards were not stacked against you but it is a way of testing you for the future. Your lack of self esteem has allowed you to not win this hand but there are many more to come. Learn from your past experience and become a better person within yourself. At least you were not spoiled, as many, and you did not mention any deformities either in mind or body. Don't you think it is about time to rise above these challenges and move forward to being a more productive mature person? There is a old saying "You are what you eat." Now change that to "You are what you think." Take this answer to one of your teachers or an adult you feel can give you an honest open minded helping hand. That may be your best bet and seeking professional help is costly and not much better. Good luck

And you are such an expert on the Bible that you can catagorically state that every Christian (since and Including Christ) is less intelligent than YOU??

There are people in this world that look for an advantage that they can exploit. You see Christians as vulnurable and immediately see an opportunity to bash without responsibility.

As men have done for 2000 years when confronted by a non-believer, I challenge you -

Name one contradiction in the Bible. (taken in context)
Name one inaccuracy in the Bible. (taken in context)

I'll pray for you. You should try understanding something you don't know anything about.

I'm not sure it's the cause. It might be a symptom. One thing I know for sure is that whenever I come across someone that believes that crap, I believe that their evaluation of reality in general is much less than acceptable.

CNN is a liberally biased news. I KNOW some of that information is flawed. For example, Congress has an 11% approval rating. That fact is not reflected in those numbers.

You are insulting Christians. Stop inferring that we are crazy wackos!

LMAO, you're at it again.

Everyone has a set of beliefs/ideals. Some people accept others while some do not. I'd imagine you're intelligent enough to differentiate.

Not everyone should think the same, feel the same things and live the same lives. Wait, I'm sure you knew that, too.

I'm assuming you believe 100% that you think you're discrediting Conservatives on here...which in fact you're not.

We have our purpose in life and you have yours. Putting little feet on those fish, isn't that what you said you do? See, that would really bore me, but to each their own. At least we keep you busy.

In John 15:18 Jesus tells Christians, "If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you."

So, you are just proving his point. Thanks.
