I have been offered this job from Calpine can anyone say weather or not this offer is real or not. Zenith wants $1,582.00 for Visas and work permits.this is a lot of money . Please help.

Sounds like a scam to me. Is this a job that you applied for, and had a personal interview for? There is a common scam where you're offered a very high-paying job in some foreign country just "based on your qualifications" without even an interview, then the charges start for various things - if that's what happened, stay away , it's a scam.

Well I am also having an appointment letter from Calpine Groups Company from Senegal, I wonder how they could just send an appointment letter without even conducting an interview. Because i just thought that they are valid company since they came through naukri.com. But on what regards they know that I am technically competant or I am the one whom they are looking for. May be this could be a scam. Bcos I ve nt contacted Zenith yet but gave mail to Calpine Group and got a reply that Zenith are their official agent for such things. Now what is that I can do. But the salary offer what they show is very high and not even a senior engineer in Us will get paid like this. So please refer to people whom you know in and around before leaping down. I have also confirmed with Senagal Embassy in India . There is no such company friends so stay away. Good Luck for a better chance next time
