The problem with Fiddler Crabs is that they aren't true freshwater crabs. They are actually brackish, and the freshwater is slowly killing them. If you get Guppies, it is likely that the crabs will try to eat the parents as well (Guppies aren't terribly bright, and can be seen as an easy meal for a hungry crab), which would mean you are down 2 Guppies (not a lot of money, but there is no sense in spending it if you can get better results with other things). If you want to feed your crabs "human food", give them bits of fish (uncooked and unseasoned). It is more healthy than warmblooded meat like steak (cows) or hot dogs (nobody knows). Email me if you have any questions.

Don't bother getting fish, the crabs are scavengers and will eat just about anything, bits of old hotdogs to scraps of steak.

My crabs enjoy scraps of tetra flakes and sinking goldfish pellets and they occasionly snap their pinchers at the fish, but they are to slow to catch any of them. I would stick to regular fish food or specialized crab food.
