i hav a friend whos mom is pregnant and she has a deadly bloodclot. is there anyway to remove the clot without hurting her or the baby????:(((

Maybe. Depends on where it is. Usually they treat with heparin for the rest of the pregnancy, which is by injection but won't cross the placenta to the baby.

I'm not doctor. Best things for you goes see your doctor. There is good chance that she need to have minor surgery for her blood clot, if this possible. Depend on where the location. Baby will not affect them as all.

the doctor will probably try treating the clot with medicine (a blood thinner) or surgery. Alot will depend on other risk factors and how far along she is

you dont remove it, you just give her medicine to prevent her from making more. she will need to be on a blood thinner for the entire pregnancy and maybe even a while after baby is born
