Well, I started babysitting when I was 12, but it was the neighbor's kids, so my parents were nearby if there was an emergency.

I would also pull weeds for my neighbors and parents and get paid a few bucks.

And I would watch my neighbors/friends/family's pets when they would go away for a little while and earn about 5-10 dollars a day doing all of those things, sometimes more.

You could ask your parents if you could do extra chores to get extra money, or ask a neighbor if they need something done for a few bucks.

sell newspapers, wash cars and mow lawns for money. Sorry but there is no other way BUT work to make money. I clean rooms for extra money after I get out of work. So does my daughter she is 13. You can do something for a friend, even, and they can pay you. like she can wash my fiance's car for 5 bucks or the boat for more. She helped me clean a room and I gave her 15 bucks for helping me. Just let people know you are willing to work for money and they will usually give you extra for trying. You may want to learn computer skills. You can make alot of money doing things on the computer for people that can be easy for you but hard for them. we paid a guy 65 dollars to come fix my computer and all he ended up doing was deleting some programs to clear up space. Easy huh? Duh... I wish I knew more about computers. That is a skill you can develop. As far as fast money, wash, cut, wipe and work and you will get it... fast!

Plenty of odd jobs and chores to do in your neighborhood.

Just ask around. Might learn something new in the process.

Mowing lawns and yard work would be a good way to earn money. Perhaps you could wash cars too.

when I was 12 I was a professional magician. I learned a craft and promoted myself for birthday parties, church functions, and school events all over my hometown. I got over $100/hr for that.
