i had 2 restart my comp completely so it was rebooted and the speakers stopped working and now it says theres no sound card but i kno there is one and i dont kno wat to buy or how to install or anything so wat should i do

Take the cover off your computer (power off) and look for the sound card. It’s the one with your speakers plug to. Is it dirty? You can blow dust off or dust it off with a soft brush. Try reboot
Next remove the card CAREFULLY (There’s a screw and clips holding it) and reseat it. …or get help from a pro.

Re-install the sound card driver. You may have to delete the existing sound card in Device Manager
(Control panel/system/hardware)

this happened to me before. first try to check what brand and model# it is. then you go to www.driverguide.com and you have to sign up which its free. then after you did that look for the driver. if this didn't help buy a new sound card. maybe it got fried

Open up your case and pull out your sound card from its seat on the mobo and put it into another slot. That usually cures it.

start - control panel - system - hardware - device manager -
look for any ! or x marks
delete them and reboot your computer
