Which do you prefer, and why?

Cockroaches love paper bags. I really don't like plastic but it's a lot harder to get rid of roaches.

Being a student of environmental science - I would prefer minimal use of paper (would not want to waste paper - because these are made from trees)
and avoid use of plastic as much as possible.

I use both. The plastic bags fit my small trash cans at home and paper is good for other things. I like my heavy groceries in paper and meat and dairy in plastic.

paper definitely.
paper is environmentally friendly. it also has a unique character, or should I say charisma, rather than plastic

both can be recycled now so i cont care either way.
i have canvase and recycled plastic totes to carry groceries in... i use those most of the time.

Plastic for "wet" items, such as freezer items.
