On the show "I Love New York," New York's mom, Sister Patterson, is a main figure on the show. One of my friends heard she's a teacher at a university somewhere in New York (go figure), so we've been trying to figure out her first name to see if it is true and to check out her ratings on the professor rating websites.

Her name is Michelle Patterson. Hopefully she isn't a teacher because i can imagine all she would do is yell and give students a major headache.

Syracuse University i think that is were she teaches, that is the same school New York went to.
