As long they are not poisonous.
I used to catch garden snakes all the time.
My mother gave me quite an appreciation of wild life.

Yes, I did over the summer. I am DEADLY afraid of Snakes, but I went to the Harry Potter book release party, and there was a snake and a lizard there. I couldn't give up a once in a lifetime opportunity like that! I held it in my hands for about 10 seconds and I even took a picture!

Nope I have held one.. not afraid of a snake snake.Maybe some men that turned out to be snakes.

A Boa Restricter...at a Cub Scout meeting where a man put on a demonstration for the boys and my oldest grandson insisted I do it. I had never even touched a snake before as I have also been afraid of them. But I did it for him and his friends. :o( :o)

Yes. When we were kids we used to catch grass snake. I have no issues with them now but I don't think I'd be going through grass trying to capture them.

I have!!! It was at a State Fair exhibit which showed snakes, and I paid $15 to have my picture taken with one.
