costumes you can plan with some friends are always fun (ie go together as spice girls, pink ladies, or couple up with someone and go as britney spears and -fed etc)
celebrities are always a hoot. As long as you pick one defining trait everyone generally knows who you are and its always fun to dress up like a famous person.
