A film crew is considering hiring me as a costume designer, but they want to know how much I expect to be paid. I have never worked on a film before, but I am a very experienced seamstress. I don't know what to tell them! Its a low budget film, but it will be filming for at least 6 months! Any opinons? Oh, I and I have to let them know really soon, so please get your answers in quick! Thanks!

I guess it depends on how many costumes they require and how much work will go into them. Also does your pay reflect the cost of materials or are we just talking about your time?

I would find out approximately how many pieces they expect they expect and how difficult the pieces will be. go from there decide how much your time and skill are worth to you.
