It's kinda absurd to compare the two as players since they play different positions. There are, of course, factors where you can readily spot the obvious. For instance, Kobe has better athletic ability because he's smaller and lighter, but Shaq is definitely stronger because of his sheer size. Thus, Kobe is the better scorer but Shaq's the better rebounder and shot-blocker. I'd say, give the scoring to Kobe. He's unbeatable in this category, what with the number of shots he's taking every night. But in terms of all-around brilliance, ability to make his teammates better players as well as sheer impact on the game, Shaq's got to be better. Just look at this, everywhere he went he's always had a "sidekick" - Penny in Orlando, Kobe in LA and now Wade in Miami. And he took all these teams to the finals, winning 4 out of 6.

Shaq has done a lot of things,,
Kobe has done a lot of things as well ..
Yet people say that Kobe would of never got does 3 rings w/t Shaq, But Shaq wouldn't accomplish crap w/t Kobe, Penny or Wade Shaq has always had that other someone..
Tell me who's Kobe had besides Shaq no one nada..
So i would go with Kobe Bryant
