We have one washer and one dryer for our complex.... I cannot even begin to recount all of our laundry hell stories, but I am soooo frustrated! Have any good ones to share? I need to be amused..

People would vandalize the washers at the first apartment I lived at. They would put crayons or busted pens in the washers and dryers. They would also steal your clothes and detergent if you left them unattended for a few seconds. At my new apartment, they close at 9 because some punks have been tagging everything. I get out of work at 9, so I basically can't wash clothes at my apartment. I have to lug everything to a washeteria. Washing sucks! I hate it.

every time i did my laundry in our complexes washer and dryer..the people that lived in the apartment right next to the laundry room..would wait till i went back to my apartment..take all of my wet clothes out of the washer..throw em on the ground and then put their clothes in..

i washed a load of towels and never seen them again

eventually i just got an apartment washer that hooked up to my sink..and washed em that way..and dryed them in the dryer but always had my door open so i could hear the dryer * we dont have a laundrymat in town...well we do..but none of the dryers work and only one washer works..and its nasty*/./

Okay i used to live in a house that had one washer one dryer and we ususally forgot to take out the laudry and we had to rewash it again usually like 3 times. there were like 11 people living in the house at once we always fought over the washer and dryer days never worked beacuse we still fought. people didnt seperate ther laundry by colur and it died each otheres clothing and sometimes we would get are laundry mixed up.Now i live in an apartment were you cant have them running at certain times and if you dont take out the laundry immeadiatly your laundry catches bacteria(thats what makes a horrible smell) and you have to wash it again.

We manage a mobile home park that had the same problem. We fixed the problem and it is working good. We posted a sign on the door with times. Everyone must sign up to use the w/d or they cannot use them. They can sign up for up to 4 hours. And if they don't leave it clean we know who it was. We lock the door and no one can use it if our rules are not followed.

I always dream that I'll meet my future husband in the laundry room, but it never happens. :-( I'm just left to do my own lonely loads for eternity.

If I were you I would just go to a local laundry mat. One machine would just take to long...
