ha i saw your question and i was thinking both of those stores.

i work at game stop. and like it kinduh varries with store and the actual condition of the unit ( i imagine you want one in good shape)) also when you by something used from there you could ask to see it. and usually if your having problems you can return it. where i work we will actually hold one for u if you are dissatisfied with the first for technical reasons. but yeah your best bet is to call the store nearest you.

DO NOT BUY USED! Xbox 360 has so much hardware problems, if you buy used it will fail you so quickly. Wait for a few months and get the halo edition, it runs cooler and is quieter and less pron to RRoD. Check out the Xbox forum, they have the latest on the better running Xboxes

My opinion, buy through Trading post or Ebay. I Bought my 360 for $400AU just waited on ebay, for the latest ending one.

your looking at about $150 with just the console itself and a controller. I bought mine brand spanking new and it cost $700 and thats 2 controls, 2 games, the harddrive and all the accessories like dvd control, ethernet cable, all that sorta stuff. I think i remember the guy seeling it 2 me in EB said that a pre-used with 2 controls and a game and HD was about $300 ... dunno if that helps

BTW i bought pre owned Crackdown for $90 and pro evolution soccer 6 for $60 price matching
