I'll give him more credit than Romo for that touchdown. Tirico said "What an amazing throw by Romo" even though he was so wide open in the endzone. It was actually overthrown and Witten had to stretch at the last second to catch it. Anyway, I think other tight ends are better athletes, but Clark & Witten benefit from being on winning teams whose quarterbacks give them tons of opportunities.

No. I like the cowboys but come on. Gates is a tier above the rest. He gets double teamed all game while defenses are worried about TO in Dallas. Plus you need to do it year in and out to be the best. Someday maybe. He is great

GATES... gates is a much better TE he is the best WR on his team. He can get open like a wideout and can block like a TE he is by far the best TE in the national football league.

Gates is the best overall TE in the NFL. His numbers may not reflect it so far this year but his overall talent is far superior.
