the girl down below gave me a link but I dont know how to read keys. can someone tell me what minor the piece is in?

The problem is that Prokofiev wrote this piece in a manner to deliberately avoid traditional key centers and modes, such as minor and major. The only thing we can really say about it is the key center is C -- but he uses such a chromatic harmonic language that it is almost meaningless. Look at the opening chord -- C is in the bass, but D# and A are in the right hand -- certainly not a C chord of any sort -- and that is the point of this piece -- the use of the "devils" interval -- the tritone. Hence "Suggestion Diabolique". :-)

You will have trouble finding any "functional" harmonic patterns that you might find in music written by his contemporary, Rachmaninoff, or by the composers of the 19th century. "Welcome to the 20th century" is what Prokofiev is saying with these pieces.
