It depends on how emotionally spent I am to be honest.

It depends on the person I am standing up against. I try not to put myself into confrontations like these; nobody wins and nothing is accomplished. Sometimes, though, you are forced to do so. I find it awesome to talk to someone, rationally and intelligently, about spiritual issues. My brother is an atheist, and we seem to get into the conversation every time we talk. Being Asatru, I have had to defend my beliefs many times. If someone has an interesting argument, I may reevaluate my belief. I have found, that most times, it comes down to this: You just have to accept that others will be different. You don't have to understand it; it is very hard to. Just accept it. Because changing that fact is beyond your control.

Very Easy

I would say easy but sometimes a friend will ask why I didn't stand up for myself and I will say something like: "I didn't really think it was that important," or "Oh I didn't notice." so maybe it is hard for me but back against the wall I am tough.

A totally honest answer here!
I hate to be put into situations in which I have to stand up for myself. I don't like confrontations, but I will certainly stand up for myself when the need arises. And I won't back down once I do stand up!

I have to say no because I can't stand to argue. Everyone has their own side and it never gets anywhere, so I let things go. It depends on the situation though, if it is something that really bothers me, I will stand my ground to the end.

It use to be really hard, but I got tired of letting things go and not doing anything about it. Now, I stand up for myself when it really matters.

Hard most of the time. It is easier to stand up for others. Why is that I wonder?
