Yes, I do. When I turned 50, my daughter and I went to one of my favorite areas to spend the night. We were coming out of a store and I started looking at the little stones making up the sidewalk and reading the words, dates, names, etc that people had put on them. I looked straight down and saw one with my 1st name and last initial and happy 50, etc. on it. I said, 'look here's someone's name like mine.' She just smiled at me and said, 'Happy Birthday, Mom.' That will be there long after I'm gone. It was one of the best surprises I ever got.

Another great question that I can relate to, only I found $20 in a coat pocket that I didn't even know was there. It really came in handy. Those kind of surprises are the best!!! :)
luvspbr2.....What a wonderful surprise for you & what a wonderful daughter you have.

Oh yes!!! Matter of fact, just a few weeks ago I had pulled some clothes out of the dryer and hung them up. The next day I went down to the laundry room to gather the clothes and bring them upstairs. I noticed some chunk of paper or something by the dryer. It was a $50.00 bill!! Yes ---- 50 dollars! I must confess, I did not mention this to my husband though, and he did not mention that he had left any money in his pockets either.

Yes I do -- seems some never see a surprise for just what it is but for some under lying sinister meaning. I love them and I have found cash when I needed it the most. Gotta love 'em. ;0)

No. But I do love surprises, as long as they are good one. Sometime, surprises come in bad packages. Then you want to get under the bed! But it; is lovely to get a surprise like the one above.

Yeah, I like surprises like yours.....the kind of surprise that I don't care so much for is the "...hi mom, I'm here to sleep on your couch for the next 6 months" one... lol

Yes, surprises are pleasant, providing they're not bad ones.
I'm not sure if I've ever had a surprise quite like yours, though...

Yes it does and it is a great feeling because it is usually found when we need it most. When I tell my husband he gets annoyed with me because he says I probably have money stashed all over the house and can't remember where it is. I wish!

That's a fine surprise. I don't like being surprised by people dropping in on me. I am usually in my housecoat, with no make up and my hair uncombed!
