My personal favorite is Luna. She's just so weird and dreamy in an awesome way. Randomness rocks, and so does she! :)

Severus Snape, without a doubt. He is one of the most complex literary characters of all time. And that is coming from a seasoned reader of Shakespeare, the king of character development. His past was so sad, and the poor guy had to be hated for his entire adult life. Only one person ever knew whose side he was on, and when that one person died, everybody hated Snape and thought he was a complete traitor even though his actions were entirely to protect what he believed in. He had to look at Harry, who was just like James, every single day, but see the eyes of the only person he had ever loved. And nobody ever loved him back. =[

I never get tired of answeing these questions, do I? and it's always the same, lol. I LOVE REMUS LUPIN! Nobody should be ashamed of anything he is or does.

Draco, he's a good character, and he's in the middle of everything cause of his Death Eater parents. in book 6 and 7 he proves he's not as evil as he always seemed.

I admire other characters for these reasons:
1. Ron: funny, loyal, and flawed so he's real and relateable
2. Luna, unique and non conformist.
3. I like Aberforth for some reason. can't say why
4. Hagrid, cause he's kind and says "never be ashamed"
5. Harry, the hero and has courage i can only dream of.
6. Ginny, Mature and wise but not "narrow and close minded" (to quote Xeno Lovegood) like Hermione. I dislike Hermione
7. Tom Riddle! complex, and evilly awesome.

i love Luna too. I loved when she was reading the book upside-down and told Harry not to worry because he's just as normal as she is:p. That was hilarious.

but my personal favorite is Snape. He's just so dark and myseterious. I'd have loved to have had a teacher like him

next in line is Hermione because she's a pretty bad-a $$ chick; i loved when she punched Draco in the face. That rocked ;)

then it's Harry, all of the Weasleys (especially the twins), Hagrid, Dumbledore, etc.,etc.,etc...

For me, it's between Luna Lovegood, Hermione, and Bellatrix Lestrange.
They're not exactly along the same lines, personality-wise, but they're all strong female characters.
Hermione is just bomb, because she is smart and she doesn't feel the need to hide it. I love Luna because she's just completely crazy and she doesn't care what anyone thinks. I think Evanna Lynch did a fantastic job playing Luna, too :D
And Bellatrix? She's such a psycho. She completely insane, and evil. And she's great fun to read about.

Two way unbreakable tie:
Neville Longbottom and Lord Voldemort.

Neville, because of his transformation from being clumsy and unsure of himself during his first years, to becoming such a fierce hero at the end. Although I liked him since "The Philosopher's Stone" When Dumbledore gave Gryffndor 50 points, do to Neville's willingness to stand up to his friends.

Lord Voldemort, because to me he's the most interesting character in the whole series, How he went from handsome teacher's pet to the most feared dark wizard of his time. The way he's such a hypocrite being the ring leader of a organization who's aim is to persecute people with a relation to muggles and yet he's a half blood himself. He's such a genius when it comes to magic and yet he doesn't get simple things like the concept behind friends or love. You just can't help but wonder what makes the mind of a sociopath like Tom Riddle tick.

I have 2 favourites:
Severus Snape - because despite what anyone said or thought about him, he was doing the right thing. He was doing it for his own reasons and he was true to himself.
Neville Longbottom - because even though he was scared and might not have been as talented at magic as other people he didn't give up. He persisted and in the end all of his hard work paid off and he really did make a difference.

She's cool. I personally prefer Sirius. I mean, he's so dark, dreamy, father-ly... I wish he was a bit younger so I could go out with him. =D

Oh, and he's a really deep character. Like, there's so much of his past that I'd love to know more about. But that's true for most characters. There's just something about Sirius that makes me like him...

Neville because he has such an interseting back story and really starts to play a major roll in the later books. Ditto Dean Thomas!
