Don't need any legalese, common sense tells you that if someone resigns this wouldn't stop them from running again. Even if they were forcibly removed from the office's they held. They could still run again, unless there was something in your condo rules prohibiting such action. If your condo rules say that anyone can run for office, well they're anyone!. Your condo rules would out rule any rule s of order that would be on any website. What ever the condo rules state, is what you have to abide by. They only way you could keep them from the new board is not vote for them and/or run against them and/or campaign against them! I was a VP in an organization once, my job called for me to give more time to it, so I resign as VP and then I filled the empty directors spot that was left by my replacement, so I could stay involved.
