Why does she lead all the polls? Personally, I don't think you can believe anything she says. I doubt seriously she is really very liberal, given her background and voting record. I believe she will be the most hawkish on the war out of the democrats. She strikes me as an opportunist - like her husband, but worse, and without the charisma. Plus, this would be a continuation of a dynasty - even though she says it's not. I guarantee that with her, we'll go to war with Iran if Bush doesn't first, and she'll never get the troops out of Iraq.
Personally, I like Barack Obama or Bill Richardson - people that worked their way up, and represent a true change. Edwards is OK, but lawyers like him I don't trust either. Biden and Dodd are too much career politicians, especially Biden - he's too slick. Kucinich I think means well, but he makes a fool of himself.
So what's so great about her?

Thank you for asking this, because I was seriously about to ask the same thing here. But it seems that in every election, everyone always says that Democrats can't nominate electable candidates. And I am starting to see that now. If we nominate Hillary Clinton, then that legacy will just continue... Barack Obama is the electable candidate this election, and I just hope that the Democrats wake up and do the right thing. I'm going to switch parties to Independent if we get the wrong person nominated. I will lose all faith in the decision making of Democrats.

Why Hillary? Because it's her dream! The wife of an elected official. Sticks her nose into government policy as if SHE was elected also! But she gets name recognition. Next step in realizing her dream: GET ELECTED to SOMETHING! Quickly buys a house in New York. Runs against wildly popular Rudy Guiliani, who stomps her in every poll taken by everyone...Rudy gets cancer, Rudy drops out...Hillary narrowly defeats Rudy's replacement. Hillary says, "Whew!" Hillary tries to act normal, says all the right things usually, and now thinks she has a chance...and she does! Just think, when Hillary gets into office, everything will be done RIGHT for a change! Hillary will give everyone everything they want or need, Hillary will be praised, Hillary will go down in history for saving the world! Eventually her name will only be spoken in hushed, reverent tones, and then she'll die. But never fear, for the name "Hillary" will live on forever...the woman who made everything alright and changed the world forever.
Hillary Clinton for President!

I'm actually with you on this one for the most part. I think Hillary is too much a politician who will say whatever she needs to to get elected. I also prefer Obama, who, despite lack of experience, has the freshest perspective. In this case maybe experience isn't as important as someone who truely has a vision for change. I think people like her because she's familiar, and has a boat load of experience in politics. My 2 cents =)

They keep saying she's the most experienced, and when you think about it, she is. Obama's still in his first term in the Senate and Edwards got booted at the end of his first. Hillary's what, 11 months into her second term? Other than that she's been...........uh?..............uh?................Oh yeah, Fisrt Lady. That should qualify her to be President, no?

Barack all the way.
Come on, Hilary is almost as bad as Clinton. I'm all for a female president, but not her. She just wants power and to dictate.
