The moon will be new moon on Thursday, so right now its a narrow crescent visible in the east just before sunrise.

The Moon is lost in the glare of the Sun and cannot be seen just now. Next week you will see it in the west early in the evening.

Tonight, Monday, the moon is not yet risen. It is late. It may have set already. I am in t he south east US
