Best album is Discipline, best song is "Pictures of a City" off of In the Wake of Poseidon.

I'll take them over anything played on the radio (new or old) any day.

Even though Court of the Crimson King has some of the classic songs, I would have to say RED is a better album through and through.

Love them!

Favourite albums (not necessarily in order):
Discipline
The Power to Believe
Red
Larks Tongues in Aspic
Starless and Bible Black
In the Court of the Crimson King

I'm loath to pick-out individual songs away from the context of the albums of which they form so integral a part.

Long may Fripp reign!

I do love In the Court of the Crimson King the most (I feel very unoriginal saying this though...) and my favorite song... if I had to choose, would be Moonchild

KING CRIMSON ROCKS! I like the album that has possidonce (however that is spelled) and that cat food song.

OMG I love Crim. I'm not a fanatic with every disc, but my faves are DISCIPLINE, BEAT, THREE OF A PERFECT PAIR, and THE POWER TO BELIEVE.

I like their old stuff, I love the experimentation they did. But some of it is unlistenable to me. RED is obviously a must-have, although I don't think it's THAT great. But the great parts of it make up for the not so great parts.

I have been blown away by their newer stuff. On the POWER TO BELIEVE, the standouts are "Level 5," "EleKtriK," and "Dangerous Curves." I can't get enough of those tracks, they are BRILLIANT. A couple of things on THRAK are great, although that disc has a lot of wanking.

Love Jack
